JANET'S LAW & BROOKSIDE TATTOOS & AESTHETICS LLC

Janet's Law & Brookside Tattoos & Aesthetics LLC

Brookside Tattoos & Aesthetics LLC is not a medical facility; therefore, it is unable to submit a medical claim for you.  However, during your consultation, the Diagnosis and Procedure codes needed for reimbursement from your insurance company will be provided to you.  Brookside Tattoos & Aesthetics LLC is also an out-of-network provider.  Patients who have out-of-network coverage and have met their deductable for the year have a greater chance of being reimbursed.  Please note that there is no guarantee that providing these codes along with a paid bill will result in reimbursement to you by your insurance company.

The U.S. Women's Health and Cancer Rights Act, also known as

Janet's Law, was signed into law on October 21, 1998.  It contains protections for patients who elect breast reconstruction with a mastectomy.

The Act notes that "Patients whose health plans cover mastectomies are entitled to insurance coverage for post - mastectomy reconstruction, including areola/nipple micropigmentation tattooing." It also states that you may go to the facility of your choice without it affecting the determination of benefits eligibility.

Please view the Procedure and Diagnostic info below to retrieve the medical codes necessary for submission to your insurance company.
